Dr. James E. McLean, MD, is President of Hospital TeamCare West. With more than 30 years experience in the medical field, Dr. McLean worked as senior physician in the department of emergency medicine with the California-based Permanente Medical Group. The recipient of the presitgious Top Doctor Outstanding Physician award, Dr. McLean has extensive clinical experience and success. Dr. McLean was Director of Emergency Medicine at Memorial Hospital in Ceres, California, and Affiliate Clinical Faculty at the University of California, Davis. Previous activities include:

Dr. McLean earned his BA in physiology at the University of California, Berkeley. He studied medicine and received his MD at the University of Louisville’s School of Medicine. Dr. McLean was a general surgery resident at Mount Zion Hospital and Medical Center in San Francisco. Dr. McLean participates in a vast array of community services. He is an acting physician volunteer with Allen Temple Baptist Church, and La Clinica de la Raza in Oakland, California.
